Avinash gives tips to budding sportspersons

Jamshedpur: Silver medalist in 3,000mt steeplechase event in the 2022 CommonWealth Games, athlete Avinash Sable, motivated the budding sportspersons here.
Stating that he realised the innate sporting talent after he joined the Army, he said success is bound to come if one tries hard. Recalling his childhood days, he said he loved to run rather than walk. Sharing glimpses of his life, he said he used to run and reach the school, which was located three km away from his house in a Maharashtra village.Later, he was motivated to take up sports in the Army. He participated in cross-country and steeplechase. Every youth has some potential. It needs to be identified and groomed for success, he added.
