Dumka: An engaging and informative training programme aimed at empowering adolescent girls was successfully conducted on May 2 and 3 at a banquet hall here.
The initiative was organised by Adithi in collaboration with the YP Foundation, both non-profit organisations, focusing on creating awareness through interactive and activity-based learning.
A total of 21 adolescent girls participated in the programme, where games and group activities were used as tools to communicate important social messages.
Through these sessions, participants were introduced to key concepts such as gender equality, power dynamics, social norms, body awareness, consent and individual rights.
