90 MBBS Students Receive Provisional Passing Certificates from Medinirai Medical College

Daltonganj: As many as 90 medical students of the first-batch of MBBS at the Medinirai Medical College (MMC) in Daltonganj got their provisional passing certificates on Tuesday after the final exam, which was held in 2024. In 2025, they underwent a one-year internship. The college began functioning in 2019. “All 90 students completed their mandatory one-year internship only on Monday,” MMC principal Dr P N Mahto said. The medicos will now apply for registration with the Jharkhand Medical Council, after which it will allot them their registration number so that they can legally use Dr as prefixes to their names. A senior faculty member of the department of surgery, Sushil Pandey, said, “This maiden batch faced numerous challenges and hiccups. The biggest challenge was the Covid pandemic.”
