85.25% of examinees in Jharkhand pass CBSE 12 examination

RANCHI: The CBSE class 12 results were declared on Saturday and of the 32860 students from 250 schools across the state who appeared for the examination, 28,015 passed, making the total pass percentage of state 85.25%. The pass percentage among girls of the state was 90.27% while that of boys was only 82.09%.

Diksha Kumari of Rajkamal Saraswati Vidya Mandir became the state topper in science with 98.6% marks. Shreya Chaudhary of Delhi Public School, Dhanbad and Shrishti Sarawagi of DPS Ranchi were tied as commerce toppers of state with 96.8% marks. Mansi Gupta of Dhanbad Public School became the arts topper in the state by scoring 97% marks.

In Ranchi, the position of city topper in science was bagged by Garima Sahu and Siddhant of DPS Ranchi, both of whom scored 98% marks. Apoorva Roy of Jawahar Vidya Mandir Shyamali became the city arts topper with 95.2% marks.
