3 interstate bike lifters among 6 held

Bokaro: Three inter-state bike lifters and their three associates were arrested from Sector 9, police said.DSP (City) Alok Ranjan said, "Acting on a complaint filed by Sector 9/B resident Prashant Kumar at Harla police station on April 22, Dil Pasand Rai, Firoz Ansari, and Manish Singh were arrested. The three used to collaborate withscrap dealers, Raisuddin Saifi alias Rais Khan and Saifi Ahmed, for dismantling stolen bikes, while scrap dealer Brajkishore Singh handled the resale operations. Four stolen motorcycles were recovered from the arrested." TNNDil Pasand Rai faces charges at Harla and Jaridih police stations, while Bihar native Firoz Ansari has pending cases in Harla, Sector 4, and City police stations. Manish Singh also has multiple FIRs against him.Brajkishore Singh, 58, was found involved in purchasing and reselling stolen vehicle parts. The DSP indicated that further arrests are likely as investigations continue into this interstate vehicle theft network.
