3 arrested for gang-raping Bokaro teen

Bokaro: Three persons were arrested on Wednesday for gang-raping a 16-year-old girl in Bokaro a day earlier. One person is absconding, police said. The survivor is a Class 12 student. Though the incident took place on May 16, the complaint was filed on Tuesday . DSP (HQ)Animesh Gupta said the girl arrived at the police station accompanied by her family. In her written complaint, she recounted the events of May 16, when she was visiting a friend's house. Four youths, identified as Rakesh Kumar, Deepak Kumar, Vicky Rai, and Suraj Kumar Sharma, allegedly barged into the residence, assaulted her friend, and then gang-raped her.
