2 inter-dist mobile thieves held in city

Ranchi: Two inter-district mobile phone thieves were arrested from near Nucleus Mall under the Lalpur police station area on Sunday, Ranchi SP (City) Raj Kumar Mehta said on Monday.
The arrested miscreants were identified as Ritik Kumar, a resident of Bandhgadhi, and Ashok Kumar Singh, a resident of Kishoreganj. The accused had snatched the mobile phone of a youth under Lalpur police station last Saturday, SP Mehta added.
The thieves were involved in thefts at Kishoreganj, Ratu, and Main Road areas of the city, besides a case lodged in Jamshedpur, he said.
Four stolen phones and a motorcycle have been seized from them, police added.
