Bokaro: A police team headed by DSP Chas Arvind Kumar Sinha on Tuesday arrested two brothers who used to cheated people of money by claiming to install mobile towers and other profitable projects on their commercial properties. They ran a fake company and as cyber experts used to lure people through their own website.

"In the past two years, Sanjay Kumar Singh and Ravi Shankar Kumar- has cheated people of more than Rs 50 lakh in West Bengal, Bihar, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Jharkhand. They are natives of Nalanda, Bihar and were living in Bokaro for the past one month. One of their associates Baapi Dada, a resident of Salt Lake Sector-5, Kolkata is absconding," said SP Y S Ramesh.

The SP said that the police found several cheque books of different banks, lease agreements, fake voter ID, driving license, laptop, mobile and other documents from their possession. They had formed a company named North Infratel Limited and launched a website www.infratower.com.

Police have lodged FIR against three of them under section 420, 467, 468, 471, 422, 120(B)/34 of IPC and 66(c)(d) IT Act 2000 with the Chas police station.
