World wild life week ends, long crusade begins
Everything comes to an end
,so do good things. It was the closing of the seven-day long carnival of World Wild Life Week but truly the beginning of the long crusade ahead to save the forest and the habitat of the wild.
The MP Hall of ANB- PNM, Rehabilitation Centre for the Blind, Mount Abu, was packed with who’s who of Mount Abu, all committing themselves to the cause of the wild, and the wild life, right from the students of various schools, with their teachers, the media and many denizens from all walks of life, supported by the entire forest fraternity.
Ola was clear to remind that people will have to take responsibility of the Eco-system. He was complimented by Hemant Singh that sans the environment the idea of tourism would not sustain long.
Agnihotri was nostalgic about Mount Abu where he had spent his early days as a forest officer. The DIG, true to his martial spirit, committed unconditionally for the support from CRPF, so did MK Sirohi, when he counselled to save the habitat of the wild first, promising to be available for the needs of the fragile eco-system 24 x 7, as reiterated John F. Kennedy, “My fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country”.
Extending his deepest gratitude to the DIG, Dr Sharma informed all present that CRPF had commenced the celebration of the week before it actually kicked off by sending their men and officers to start eradicating Lantana and joining in the national cleanliness drive. CRPF has not only protected our boarders but is ubiquitous to protect the people too.
He shared that MK Sirohi is the first denizen of Mount Abu, who has installed the very first mini solar power station for his Eco-friendly hotel, with 10 KW capacity.
