Unauthorised railway ticket centre raided

ANKLESHWAR: An unauthorised railway ticket centre was raided at Ankleshwar by railway vigilance team from Ahmedabad on Thursday evening. They also arrested one person in this connection.
Vigilance officer Virendra Makwana said, "Sanjay Patil, who operated Prompt Tours at Ankleshwar GIDC, was allegedly found doing illegal activities and also involved in black marketing of railway tickets and bogus reservations.The raid was carried out following a complaint. At least 12 confirmed reservation tickets and 33 cancelled reservation tickets were found during the raid. A compliant has been filed against him under section 143 of the Railway Act. He has been arrested and handed over to Railway Police Force for further interrogation."
The accused will be produced before the railway court in Surat shortly.
