An eight-year-old boy was killed and three persons injured when a Maruti car collided with a dumper near Surajbhari bridge here on Monday.

BHUJ: An eight-year-old boy was killed and three persons injured when a Maruti car collided with a dumper near Surajbhari bridge here on Monday.
According to police, singer Sima Raval, her sound recorder Haresh Patel, 37, of Mirzapar, Rakesh Tahelani, 37, and Hardik, 8, Seema's son, were returning in a car from Ahmedabad to Kutch when the accident occurred.

Hardik died on the spot while three, including Seema, were rushed to Bhachau government hospital. Police have filed a case against the driver of the dumper for negligent and rash driving.
In another accident, a trailer hit a pedestrian near ST bus stop of Arasa village killing him on the spot at Gandhidham on Sunday night. The unidentified victim, who is around 50 years old, was taken to Ram Baug Hospital.
