On August 25, they allegedly circulated provocative messages saying 'If you are a Patel reach Swaminarayan temple...those who don't come will be considered Harijan (Dalit)'.
Police said the group had planned to set ablaze state transport buses in Upleta.
"We had received a tip-off about the group's plan and nabbed them before they could execute their plan. We checked their mobile phones and the messages confirmed their designs," Nimawat told TOI.
