Three booked under Arms Act

Rajkot: Police have booked three people under the Arms Act after a video of firing in the air during Janmashtami celebration post August 19 midnight went viral on social media. After investigating the video, the B-division police booked Jeevan Makana, Dinesh Makwana and one person who owned the licensed pistol. The incident happened in Jai Jawan Jai Kisan society on Morbi Road where a large number of people had gathered to celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna. Jeevan snatched the pistol from Dinesh and opened one round in the air, said police.
