NCP MLA Kandhal Jadeja booked for rioting, assaulting policemen
RAJKOT: Kutiyana’s newly-elected NCP MLA Kandhal Jadeja allegedly entered into a scuffle with Ranavav police personnel in the wee hours of Thursday after fighting with his rival. According to police, he created ruckus at police station and allegedly assaulted police staff.
Porbandar SP Shobha Bhutda told TOI that “an FIR have been lodged against Kandhal Jadeja for rioting, assaulting and obstructing a public servant in his duty.”
According to police sources, Kandhal was in the mood to take revenge against Samant Mer for campaigning against him in recently concluded assembly election.

He went to Samant’s house after midnight with his supporters but they did not find him. Samant took shelter in Ranavav police station. A police personal told that “Kandhal and his supporters entered into police station in the early morning, beat up Samant and targeted police personnel who tried to protect Samant.
