Mehsana teacher held for sexually harassing kids

PALANPUR: A teacher of a private school in Nandasan in Mehsana has been arrested for sexually harassing girl students.
Sources said that 28-year-old Naved Faizy was employed at Nakadar English Medium School for the last one year. He was teaching English and was the class teacher for standard three.
He allegedly used to call the girls during the recess and harass them sexually.
The matter came to light when some students of his class declined to go to school and attend classes. After much persuasion, they told their mothers about their ordeal. Their mothers brought this to the notice of other parents who marched to the office of the school principal.
The accused denied the charges but when the girls started relating their experiences, he could not say anything.
The parents thrashed him and handed him over to the cops at Nandasan police station.
"After receiving written complaints from parents we arrested him," said sub-inspector D K Vasava.
