RAJKOT: A couple ended their lives by consuming

of Aji Dam Chowkdi here on Monday morning.


The deceased were identified as Sonal Chauhan (18), a resident of Shriram Park Society, and Rajesh Parmar (26), a resident of Shivajinagar locality of Rajkot.

"Preliminary investigation revealed that Parmar, who was in love with Chauhan, was already married. As Chauhan's parents were against her relationship with Parmar and Parmar's wife was not willing to divorce him, both decided to end their lives," an official from Aji Dam police station said.
