Man shoots wife, her paramour

RAJKOT: A 32-year-old man opened fired on his wife and her paramour in Bhavnagar on Friday killing the latter. He later escaped with his minor daughter.
Sources said the deceased was identified as Devendra alias Ranjit Sharma (36). The accused, Jigar Vyas, saw his wife Chetna Vyas (35) with Devendra at his residence in a compromising position on Friday and opened two rounds of fire at each of them.
While Devendra succumbed to the bullet injuries, Chetna was rushed to a hospital. Primary investigation suggests that Jigar is employed in the armed forces.
