Four killed in two separate accidents

RAJKOT: Four persons were killed in two different accidents reported from Morbi and Kutch districts on Friday night and Saturday morning.

In Kutch, two children, identified as Het Patel (3) and Teerth Patel (6), were killed, when two bikes they were riding pillion on got rammed by a speeding truck coming from the opposite direction in Ghaduli village of Lakhpat taluka on Saturday morning.

“Kantilal Patel, the grandfather of Teerth, and Paresh Patel, Teerth’s father, who were driving the two different bikes, were seriously injured in the accident. Het is Teerth’s cousin,” said an official from Dayapar police station.

In Morbi district, two truck drivers were killed when their trucks collided head on with each other on the Morbi- Wankaner Road near Rafareshwar village on Friday night. Police identified the deceased as Guddu Yadav (30), the driver and Dalsukh Vaghela (28).
