Five attack guard at Kandla SEZ, booked

Rajkot: A security guard at Kandla Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Gandhidham of Kutch district was beaten up on Saturday.
Police said a group of five assailants armed with swords, iron pipes and bats had attacked Jogindarsingh Shrivalsingh (22).
“The assailants had attacked the security guard after he had refused to allow them the entry into the SEZ.The accused have been identified as Akram Chawda, Gani Chawda and their three unidentified aides,” said M B Zala, sub-inspector with Gandhidham B division police station.
After a video of the incident went viral, the police booked the accused based on the CCTV footages of the incident.
However, the accused are yet to be arrested.
