Rajkot: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught Dharmendra Yadav (30), a Class-II officer of the CGST department red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000.
The complainant and his partner had started an export-import firm. As part of the verification process, Yadav had visited the firm's address for inspection. The complainant alleged that after the verification, Yadav demanded Rs 5,000 on Feb 8 in exchange for submitting the final report.

ACB officer R R Solanki told TOI that the trap was carried out near Racecourse Ground, and the entire bribe amount of Rs 5,000 was recovered from the accused.
A case was registered against Yadav under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
