Bhavnagar’s 22-year-old shot by neighbour dies

Rajkot: A 22-year-old woman, who was shot in the head by her neighbour over a petty quarrel with her father, succumbed at Bhavnagar's Sir T Hospital, on Sunday.
Last week, Fariyal Anwar Ali and her mother were shot at by Karim Sher Ali Rashiyani who objected to the heap of sand and cement lying outside their house for renovation work. He had picked up a fight with the deceased's father Anwar Ali and, in a fit of rage, shot the two women.

Fariyal had suffered severe bullet injury in her head and her condition was critical while her mother is said to be stable after being injured near the left eye. The duo had intervened to save Anwar from Karim's wrath as he had started thrashing him after a heated altercation.
Police have added sections of murder against Karim who is still on the run ever since the incident.
