"As we have to recover the money and vehicles used, the court granted us remand up to September 25," Waghela added.
These men had called Naresh Patel, employee of Prakash Kantilal Angadia in Bhavnagar, at the new office of their company RK Courier at Ghoghabed Chowk, asking him for payment of Rs 15 lakh to be made in Indore on August 22 evening. Patel reached the courier office at 6 pm and two men started counting the money.
When they finished counting around Rs 3 lakh, one of them put a knife to Patel's throat and told him to call up his Indore office to inform them of receipt of the cash in Bhavnagar. Terrified, Patel did as he was told. Three more men entered the office, tied him up and fled with the money. Police registered a case of cheating and started investigations.
