Anti-Corruption Bureau catches sarpanch taking bribe in Sayla
The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB)’s Surendranagar division caught Raghu Bavaliya, sarpanch of Dhinkvali village in Sayla taluka, accepting a bribe of Rs 1,800 on Friday.
The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB)’s Surendranagar division caught Raghu Bavaliya, sarpanch of Dhinkvali village in Sayla taluka, accepting a bribe of Rs 1,800 on Friday.
Anil Rathod, a villager had lodged a complaint with on ACB’s toll free helpline after Bavaliya demanded Rs 1,800 from him to fill up attendance sheet in Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee (MGNREGA) work.
ACB laid a trap at Sayla taluka panchayat and caught Bavaliya red handed.tnn
