The Aam Admi Party (AAP)'s membership registration drive is in the top gear across Saurashtra region as large number of people, mostly educated youth, making a beeline to join the outfit.

RAJKOT: The Aam Admi Party (AAP)'s membership registration drive is in the top gear across Saurashtra region as large number of people, mostly educated youth, making a beeline to join the outfit.
According to sources, the membership drive is in full swing in Jamnagar, Rajkot, Amreli and Porbandar and over 20,000 people registered with AAP as its members.

According to a computer engineer and coordinator of Jamnagar district Bhargav Thakar, 5,500 people have registered with AAP and on an average 500 people are joining as its members from Jamnagar district daily. In Rajkot, close to 1,700 people registered with AAP in two days and more are expected to do so in a the special drive that will be launched in the city and district.
