3 die as car rams crane on Una-Bhavnagar highway

Rajkot: Three persons were killed when the car they were travelling in rammed into the rear of a parked crane on Una-Bhavnagar highway near Kanak Barada village of Una taluka in Gir Somnath district on Wednesday night.

The deceased were identified as Abdul Pathan (31), a resident of Rahimnagar locality of Una, Iqbal Sheikh (33), a resident of Vadala locality of Una and Shivam Chaurasiya (25), a resident of Patelnagar locality in Una.

“While Pathan and Sheikh were killed on the spot, Chaurasiya succumbed to his injuries at Una Civil Hospital,” said an official from Una police station. tnn
