A judicial magistrate at Liliya taluka court has granted 12-day police remand for persons accused of murdering a sarpanch and his brother in Gundaran village in Amreli district.

RAJKOT: A judicial magistrate at Liliya taluka court has granted 12-day police remand for persons accused of murdering a sarpanch and his brother in Gundaran village in Amreli district.Sarpanch of Gundaran village Bharat Khuman (26) and his brother Ajit Khuman (32) were hacked to death by the accused following personal enmity.Those arrested are Mohammed Sandhi, Imran Mohammed, Salim Abdul, Khalid Mohammed, Usman Guru, Yunus Mohammed and Somar Abdul. Police are further investigating.
