Head constable arrested for sexual abuse of minor in West Godavari

RAJAHMUNDRY: A POCSO case was booked against a Head Constable for sexually abusing a minor girl in West Godavari district. Narsapura police have arrested the police personnel on the complaint lodged by the minor girl.Manepalli Singh belongs to Narsapuram town is working as Head Constable in Poduru police station. He is on medical leave and staying at his home in Narsapuram for the last few days. In the meantime, he eyed a minor girl who living in his neighbouring house. On Sunday evening, he entered the minor girls house when there was no one her house. He sexually abused the minor girl who is studying class 9. The girl has told her family members about the ordeal and a complaint was lodged a complaint with Narsapuram Town Inspector Yadagiri has registered POCSO case against the accused who is 50 year-old and later he was arrested.
