World Leprosy Day: CG IADVL celebrates installation ceremony of new committee

Raipur: The Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists, and Leprologists (IADVL) Chhattisgarh organised a combined event featuring a Leprosy CME on World Leprosy Day alongside the installation ceremony of their working committee. Distinguished speakers from Bilaspur and Raipur, including Dr JP Swain, Dr Neel Prabha, Dr Namrata Chabra, and Dr Dennis Henry, delivered presentations at the conference. The event focused on enhancing treatment protocols and patient care strategies for individuals affected by leprosy.The installation ceremony of IADVL featured the oath-taking ceremony of new office bearers. Dr Ajay Pandey assumed the role of President, whilst Dr Daniel Henry was sworn in as IADVL Secretary. The vice presidential positions were filled by Dr Piyush Agrawal, Dr Manjeet Gupta, Dr Aditi Bansal Dubey, and Dr Garima Balpande. Dr Santosh Agrawal took charge as Treasurer, Dr Pankaj Kaushik and Dr Dennis Henry were appointed as Joint Secretaries.The event witnessed participation from delegates across Chhattisgarh state. Notable attendees included Dr Mohan Gupta, Dr David Henry, Dr Pooja Pandey, Dr Nivedita Rathod, Dr Sangeeta, Dr Shilpi Lakra, amongst others.
