Workshop on women safety, nutrition awareness in Raipur

Raipur: A workshop on Women safety and nutrition awareness was organised in the capital on Wednesday.Karate expert Harsha Sahu taught women the tricks of self-defence. Dr. Shruti Prabhu of Satya Sai Hospital and Dr. Aparna Deshpande of UNICEF gave detailed information on adolescent girls and health and nutrition, said a release. Along with this, cyber expert Monali Guha solved the queries of the students while explaining cyber security. Along with this, blood and BMI tests of girl students were also done.Parliamentary Secretary Rashmi Singh, Sanjari Balod MLA Sangeeta Sinha, Dharsinwa MLA Anita Yogendra Sharma, Pandariya MLA Mamta Chandrakar, Chairperson of Chhattisgarh State Women's Commission Dr. Kiranmayi Nayak and Member of Chhattisgarh Child Protection Commission Asha Yadav were also present during the event.
