Restaurant fined for unhygienic conditions

Raipur: A renowned eatery of Raipur, Moti Mahal Hotel, has been imposed with a penalty of Rs 20,000 by the health department of Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) for unhygenic conditions. Besides, single use polythene was also found there.
Dr Tripti Panigrahi, assistant health officer, said that the RMC team checked the hotel and found dirt inside as well as outside.The wet waste of the hotel was being thrown into the drain against the rules by not giving it to the Swachhata Mitra vehicles engaged in collecting wastes door to door. The sanitary pipes in the hotel were also found damaged adding to the unhygienic conditions.
