BHILAI: Chief Minister
Raman Singh on Friday performed bhumi-poojan of 130 development projects worth Rs 69 crore and released schemes worth Rs 18 crore at a function held at Supela Bus Stand in Bhilai here on Friday evening.
Singh, during his visit to Durg district, took a halt in Bhilai for the official unveiling of the projects and schemes for public at large.
Addressing the occasion, CM spoke about the development work being carried out by the government and the administration.
He also presented an ambulance to Bhilai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to help the corporation cope with emergency-related situations. He also inaugurated the first water-dispensing ATM at premises of Lal Bahadur Shashtri Hospital in Supela area of Bhilai.
However due to unexpected change in the weather condition and consequent rainfall, a ruckus like situation was created.
The tent covering the podium was strongly held by policemen available in order to avoid any untoward incident.
