Nominations filed for student union elections

BILASPUR: Candidates turned up in large numbers along with their supporters to file nominations for various posts of students union election of their respective colleges on Monday. Only one nomination for the post of president was filed at DP Law College.

The nominations were filed for the posts of president, vice-president, secretary, joint secretary and class representatives.At CMD college, one of the top colleges of the city, Poonam Tiwari of NSUI filed her nomination for the post of president. While Saurab Khan filed his nomination for the post of vice-president, Akash Yadav filed papers for the post of secretary and Shraddha Rathore for the post of joint secretary at the same college.
