NIT-R hosts Yuva Sangam tour delegation from Nagaland

Raipur: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur welcomed the delegates from Nagaland on Thursday as part of phase two of Yuva Sangam, a youth exchange program under ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’.
During their visit, the Nagaland delegates will have ample opportunities to immerse themselves in the state's rich culture. They are scheduled to take on industrial visit to Bhilai Steel Plant, explore the historical site of Sirpur, and visit the Governor's House. Additionally, they will get a chance to explore the cities of Raipur and Naya Raipur, with various recreational activities planned over the course of the next four days.
Dr Sanjay Alang, Divisional Commissioner of Raipur, was invited as the chief guest, alongside special guest Rustam Sarang, an international weightlifter.
Launched in February of this year, the first phase of Yuva Sangam witnessed an overwhelming participation of 1200 youngsters, with the initial batch visiting northeastern India. The program aims to foster people-to-people connections, particularly among the youth from different states, while introducing them to the diverse culture and values of India.
