Man beheads wife, roams with severed head in Korba; arrested

Raipur: In a gruesome incident in Korba, a man allegedly killed his wife, beheaded her and roamed the village carrying the severed head, triggering panic. The accused, a poultry farm watchman, reportedly roamed around the village carrying the severed head before placing it in a sack. A video of the accused moving around with the severed head has also surfaced and is circulating widely on social media. Villagers alerted police, who rushed to the spot and arrested him. The couple lived with their four children at the farm. Preliminary investigation points to frequent quarrels between the two. The woman's body has been sent for postmortem.
