Jawahar Bal Manch

(JBM), a new organisation launched by the Indian National Congress for children aged between 10 to 17 years to prepare them for the future and inculcate “constitutional values”.

Ramya Haridas, a member of Parliament and national coordinator of JBM, has also appointed Amit Miri as state vice-president and Pranav Das vaishnav, Gaurav Gole, Upendra Gupta,

, Namrata Soni, Prashant Rao Tati as state coordinators.

JBM has given a formal shape to a team that had started working in Chhattisgarh since March this year. Kulisha Mishra, in her capacity as the national joint secretary of

Indian Youth Congress

, had been supervising the activities with the support of state youth Congress so far.

JBM state coordinator Kulisha Mishra said the idea of the new organisation is to inculcate constitutional values and a spirit of nationalism and instil secular principles in children besides developing their artistic and cultural talents.
