Justice Bhaduri seeks inspection of all orphanages in Chhattisgarh

Raipur: Taking cognizance of the incident, executive chairman of state legal services authority (SLSA), Justice Goutam Bhaduri sought report from Kanker district judges and president of district legal services authority (DSLA). He has ordered a thorough inspection of all children’s home in the state. Justice Bhaduri said that after the FIR is lodged, the children should be provided with legal assistance, counselling and compensation under the victim compensation scheme.Bhaduri has directed all district judges, presidents of DLSA in Chhattisgarh that proper inspection at all the children shelter homes, orphanages, and ashrams should be carried out by secretary of DLSA. They should meet the kids individually to know what challenges they are facing. In case of incidents of harassment, action should be taken immediately, the order said. DLSA member secretary Anand Prakash Variyal said that based on the instructions of Justice Bhaduri, all the district judges were directed for the implementation of the order.TNN
