IIIT Naya Raipur students secure best student exhibitor award at ICORT 2025
Raipur: A team of students from Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Naya Raipur made a mark at the 4th International Conference on Range Technology (ICORT-2025) by securing first position and winning the best student exhibitor award. The prestigious conference, organised by ITR, DRDO, Balasore, was held from March 6-8, witnessing participation from top institutions, including IITs and NITs.
The IIIT Naya Raipur team, consisting of four students, presented three innovative IoT-based projects, developed under the guidance of Dr Kavita Jaiswal and Dr Ruhul Amin. Parth Patel presented a project titled AuraSense: Advanced Contactless Human Presence Detection System. Mohammad Adeeb presented a project titled Revolutionising Hydration: Smart Bottle Technology for Real-Time Water Monitoring and Sustainable Consumption. Kamya Hirwani and Adya Pandey presented a project titled IoT-Based Automatic Car Parking System: Optimising Space Utilisation and Enhancing User Experience.
Despite intense competition, the students impressed the jury with their technical innovation and problem-solving approach, securing the top spot. Their success not only highlights their dedication to cutting-edge research and development but also brings great pride to IIIT Naya Raipur.
