A team of 10 students and two teachers of Delhi Public School, Raipur, will visit Britain in October under the educational exchange programme.The team will act as cultural ambassador of Chhattisgarh and India.

RAIPUR: A team of 10 students and two teachers of Delhi Public School, Raipur, will visit Britain in October under the educational exchange programme. The team will act as cultural ambassador of Chhattisgarh and India.
The team, consisting of three boys and three girls of Classes VII and IX, led by DPS principal Raghunath Mukherjee paid courtesy visit to chief minister Raman Singh.

Mukherjee said that DPS is the first school of Chhattisgarh to have an agreement of educational exchange programme with Hans Down School of Britain. Students and teachers, including Sushma Purushottam and C P Singh, will leave for Britain on October 9 and return on October 22.
During the visit, these students will attend classes on arts and science and learn about their culture.
Students will also present Indian classical music and dance performances along with Karma folk dance of Chhattisgarh in Britain. Under this exchange programme, a team from Hans Down School will also visit Raipur in February, 2014.
