Chhattisgarh's Imon, Maharashtra's Mishika bag AITA U-16 tennis titles

RAIPUR: Imon Bhatt of Chhattisgarh defeated his counterpart Mohd Ariz in straight sets by 6-0, 6-0 in the final to lift the U-26 boys’ Singles title of the All India Tennis Tournament, organised by Chhattisgarh State Tennis Association.


Similarly, Maharashtra’s Mishika Tayde defeated Chhattisgarh’s Anamya Dubey in straight sets by 6-3, 6-3 to win the girls' Singles title of the tournament.

Earlier, Mishika defeated Nandika Agrawal in a tough fight in one of the semifinals to enter the final. Similarly, Anamya defeated Mansi in the other semifinal to enter the final.

In the boys' semifinals, Ariz defeated Daksh Jotwani while Imon defeated Arman Patil to enter the final.
