Winning the toss, Chhattisgarh chose to bat first. Amandeep’s 46-ball 57 (five fours, three sixes) and Harpreet Singh Bhatia’s 37-ball 47 (five sixes) ensured the team put up a competitive total of 167 for seven in the stipulated 20 overs. Sushil K Barik, Abhishek Raut, Rajesh Mohanty, Devvrat Pradhan and Tarani Shaw took one wicket each while Mustaq Baig took two scalps for Chhattisgarh.

Chasing the target of 168, Odisha could not even reach the halfway mark after a batting collapse. Odisha was bundled out for 80 in 17.3 overs. Spinner Sumit Ruikar claimed three scalps of Odisha while pacer Ravi Kiran claimed two wickets each. Shubham Agrawal took two wickets.
