for this year is scheduled to be held on September 11 on all subject matters as per guideline issued byNational Legal Services Authority
(NALSA
), New Delhi.Chhattisgarh High Court Legal Services Committee
has requested advocates and parties concerned to contact the secretary along with details of their cases to be settled in this Lok Adalat before August 20.High Court Legal Services Committee
in its recent notice regarding Lok Adalat mentioned that the committee will hold National Lok Adalat for the aforementioned subjects specified by NALSA for the matters pending in the Chhattisgarh High Court. This may be organized in any of the modes including E or Virtual Lok Adalat, physical mode (conventional way), keeping in view the local scenario including guidelines issued by health authorities from time to time.The cases that may be taken up for settlement in
this National Lok Adalat
will include criminal compoundable offences, NI Act cases under Section 138, money recovery cases, MACT cases, labour and employment dispute cases, electricity and water bills and other bill payment cases (excluding non-compoundable), matrimonial disputes (except divorce), land acquisition cases pending before civil courts or tribunals, service matters relating to pay and allowances and retrial benefits, revenue cases pending in district courts and high courts only, other civil cases like rent, easmentary rights, injunction suits, and specific performance suits.The committee has asked all the advocates and parties concerned, who are interested to place their matters pending in the Chhattisgarh High Court for settlement in National Lok Adalat to contact the High Court Legal Services Committee secretary along with the details of their cases on or before August 20, so that necessary action may be taken.
