RAIPUR: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Tuesday announced a 2% hike in dearness allowance (DA) for govt employees in Chhattisgarh, bringing it at par with the Centre’s 55%. Over four lakh state employees will benefit from the decision.

With no progress in talks, the body has announced a state-wide protest on August 22.
