Chhattisgarh bags 30 medals at national kickboxing c’ship
Raipur: With 12 gold medals, Chhattisgarh finished fourth at the National Kickboxing Championship organised at Jalandhar, Punjab in senior category from July 1 to 5. Chhattisgarh also bagged nine silver and nine bronze medals at the championship accounting to a total of 30 medals.
Shreya Shukla from Korba district bagged two gold medals in women’s singles category. Swati Rajwade from Surguja, Ambika Patel from Raipur and Riyasha Bag each won a gold medal.

Sarwar Ekka from Surguja, Uday Yadav and Durgesh Patel from Dhamtari won one gold medal each. In the team events, Raipur men and women bagged two gold medals each.

The silver medallists are Chand Sahu, Himanshu Barmal, Riyash Bagh, Vijaya Sahu, Ghulam Mohammed, Aman Jennis Lakra and Lucky Thakur. At the team events, Chhattisgarh won one silver medal as well.
The bronze medallists are Ashok Sahu, Himanshu Barmal, Mohit Ram, Kiran Sahu, Mamta Thakur, Sandhya, Khushi Yadav and Vinay Singh.
