Raipur: In a stunning display of grit and determination, Chandigarh pulled off a remarkable come-from-behind victory against Chhattisgarh in their Ranji Trophy Group D clash at Raipur. Trailing by over 123 runs after the first innings, Chandigarh rallied to secure a shocking 54-run win, overshadowing Chhattisgarh's Sanjeet Desai's magnificent century and M Ravi Kiran's impressive ten-wicket haul, both of which ultimately went in vain. Desai's 144, his third of the season, and Ravi Kiran's fifer gave Chhattisgarh a commanding position, but Chandigarh's spirited fightback turned the tables dramatically.Chandigarh, after electing to bat, were initially restricted to 283. Gurinder Singh (113) and Amrit Lal Lubana (92) offered resistance, but Ravi Kiran's exceptional bowling (5 wickets) shone through.
