Raipur: In a thrilling start to the Senior Men's Vijay Hazare One Day Trophy 2024, Chhattisgarh emerged victorious against Chandigarh in their opening match, winning by 13 runs under the VJD method after poor visibility stopped play.The match, played at Vizianagaram, saw standout performances from both sides. Chandigarh, batting first after Chhattisgarh won the toss and opted to field, posted a daunting total of 322/5 in 50 overs. The innings was powered by a scintillating 152-run knock from Shivam Bhambri, supported by Tushar Joshi (59) and A.K. Kaushik (51*).
