The accused professo has been booked under Section 354 of the IPC that deals with physical contact and advances involving unwelcome and explicit sexual overtures, said Mahila police station inspector Kavita Dhurvey. The woman mustered the courage three days back and first lodged a complaint with the state-run KTUJM. The university heard both parties and reserved its decision, officials said. We are investigating the matter. The arrest of the accused associate professor is not made yet. The girl came to us to file a complaint on Friday, police said. KTUJM vice chancellor Baldeo Bhai Sharma could not be reached for his comments as calls went unanswered.
