ASI dies by suicide inside Balod police station

He was found hanging in his barrack during the morning hours, said Chitra Verma, city superintendent of police.mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto; line-height:normalMandavi was immediately rushed to a hospital but was declared dead by doctors.mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto; line-height:normalPolice said no suicide note was recovered from the spot. “A case was registered, and further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact reasons that led to the extreme step,” the officer said.mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto; line-height:normalEarlier this month, on August 6, a policeman allegedly died by suicide by hanging himself at his official residence in Durg district. On August 3, an official of the Chhattisgarh Armed Force (CAF) ended his life in Kondagaon district, reportedly by shooting himself with his service rifle.
