RAIPUR: An assistant sub-inspector (ASI) allegedly died by suicide inside the premises of a police station in Balod district on Saturday.
mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto; line-height:normalThe deceased officer, identified as Heeraman Mandavi, was posted at Dallirajhara police station. He was found hanging in his barrack during the morning hours, said Chitra Verma, city superintendent of police.

On August 3, an official of the Chhattisgarh Armed Force (CAF) ended his life in Kondagaon district, reportedly by shooting himself with his service rifle.
