After Ishika, Jashpur’s Naman tops state with 99% in CGBSE
Raipur: In Class 10 board examinations conducted by the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education for 2024-25, Naman Khuntia from Jashpur and Ishika Bala from Kanker jointly achieved the highest position. Both students attained 99.17% marks in the examination.Chief minister Vishnu Deo Sai congratulated the successful students and expressed his good wishes for their future endeavours. He also acknowledged the contributions of parents, teachers, and institutions, including Sankalp and others in Jashpur. For the third year in succession, Jashpur district has retained its premier position amongst districts with the highest number of state merit list students in Class 10.The merit list comprises 11 students from Sankalp Jashpur, one from Sankalp Pathalgaon, one from Swami Atmanand Excellent English Medium School Jashpur, and one from Prayas Residential School Jashpur.State topper Naman, who studies at Sankalp Jashpur, hails from Pathalgaon town. His father, Arjun Yadav, operates a shop, and along with his mother Haravati Yadav, they are delighted with their son's achievement.Additional high achievers include Teepesh Prasad Yadav securing third rank with 98.83%, Yuvraj Paikara of Sankalp Jashpur at fifth rank with 98.50%, and Purnima Paikara and Anushka Singh sharing seventh rank with 98.17%. The eighth rank at 98% was shared by Ankit Kumar Yadav, Harshita Singh, Jitendra Banjare, Pooja Chauhan, Sanjana Paikara, and Stuti Pandey. Ritu Kurre and Mahi Dadsena secured ninth and tenth ranks respectively.In Class 12 results, a DPS Jashpur student achieved fifth rank statewide with 98.70%. Notably, Ambiraj Pahariya from the Pahadi Korwa tribal community and Sankalp Jashpur scored 96%.
