Police and paramilitary forces that draws
Naxalites to join the of society is yielding positive results with Naxal-activities confining into just few pockets in Chhattisgarh. According to information received from DIG (
Naxal Operations
), as many as 57 Naxalites have surrendered in the month of March. A total of 37 Naxalites have also been arrested and four Naxalites have been killed in different encounters in March. Besides, during the anti-Naxal operation, the police has recovered five weapons and seized and defused 20 IEDs in Dantewada, Bijapur and Sukma districts.

Naxal
Operations) claims that continuous patrolling and search work is being done by police and paramilitary forces in dense forest and hilly regions of worst-Maoist affected Dantewada, Bijapur and Sukma districts. Anti-Naxal campaign is being run by Chhattisgarh Police to curb Maoist activities in the state. The joint operation of police and paramilitary forces is going on which is reaping success. tnn
