2,000 school students go on edu tour via jungle safari

Raipur: Around 2,000 students from over 10 schools participated in an educational tour at Nandanvan Jungle Safari in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar as part of the "Prakriti Darshan" programme. The students made the most of the safari experience and engaged in creative activities such as painting and nature-based art to foster their connection with nature as well. The environmental education team at Nandanvan Jungle Safari provided insights into wildlife conservation, biodiversity, and the importance of preserving the environment and during the safari, students observed and learned about wildlife and the natural ecosystem up close. Nandanvan Jungle Safari director Dhammasheel Ganveer shared his thoughts on the initiative, "Under the 'Prakriti Darshan' programme, our primary aim is to raise awareness among children about environmental and wildlife conservation. Nandanvan Jungle Safari is not just a tourist destination but also a centre for nature and environmental education. It teaches children the vital role of nature and wildlife conservation in our lives. Such activities not only connect children to nature but also instill in them the spirit of becoming responsible citizens." the director said on the matter.
